On the Set and a Hot Mess…

I would love to wake up in the morning, roll out of bed and look as though I’ve just stepped off the pages of Vogue. Hair and make-up done to perfection, beautiful designer clothes draped on my body like the finest spun silk. But in reality, my hair is all over my head (unless I have on a do-rag), morning breath in full effect, one eye is half closed causing me to bump into the obstacle course that is my bedroom, on the way to the bathroom for my morning look into the mirror of horror.

Once I finally get through the trauma of my morning ritual, I get my jolt of caffeine…Coca Cola baby, and by then I can move on with my day. I am truly lucky to have a variety skills that takes me to many places including TV and movie sets. It’s not all red carpets, doing lunch, movie premieres, fashion shows and slick Hollywood parties. There are people who make the stars look good when they’re up on the big screen or that dreaded HDTV and I’ve been fortunate enough to be one of them.

I thought that I would share some of the more interesting photos of me doing my thing on the set. WARNING….WARNING…I look nothing like the Warhol-esque photo on my blog and believe me, it’s just all sorts of wrong. HA..HA..HA..HA..HA..HA..HA!!!

  1. Film production can be difficult at times, but mostly it can be a really fun experience! It looks like it was pretty neat to set up all of that equipment.

    • Wow, it is fun, but the hours are long and when you have difficult people around you, good grief! I love to set up the equipment because I’ve always tinkered with different types of equipment with my dad since I was a little girl.
